i know it’s been quiet on the blog front over the last couple of weeks, but of course, there was good reason. drum roll, please.. my folks were in town! yep.. it’s only been like five weeks since i saw them last in toronto, where we road tripped to ottawa and montreal, but here they were on the west coast to visit me… the kicker was that my third uncle came out too.. they all stayed at my place for about a week, before uncle flew home to toronto.. so the last week, i’ve had a chance to spend a lot of quality time with mum and dad..
you know, being out here on the west coast has been a growing experience. i’ve learned a lot living on my own.. the west coast is starting to settle down, and while i still hesitate to call it home, it does seem more familiar.. that being said, it’s always good to see the folks.. it’s good to be a family unit again.. and it’s nice that i can take care of them for a change while they had their stay here..
anyways, i just put them on a place and they’re on their way back to TO as we speak.. i’ll miss them tremendously, but i know i’ll see them soon enough..
