the greeks are gone

well, kosta and nick made their flight this afternoon and hong kong seems quieter now. i’m currently sitting in my cousin’s apartment at the mid levels in central and reflecting on the last couple of weeks. kosta, nick and i had a great time exploring hong kong, kowloon and macau. it has been great getting to know the boys a bit more as well as getting to know the city as well. hong kong is an awesome city that is full of life at all hours. for me, it was great to explore central and soho as the boys and i spent a lot of time here. i’ve been coming to hong kong for about twenty five years now, since i was four and half. my grandma lives in central and honestly, i’ve always thought it wasn’t a big deal to be in central. that being said however, i’ve come to the realization that central is certainly the financial centre of hong kong and there is a lot of life after working hours. i have a new appreciation of central and i look forward to discovering more of the area as well as different parts of the city. until next time…
