i was wrong

well, looks like i was wrong… again!  hahaha…  we decided to go to lantau island anyways since the weather seemed to be letting up and the clouds were starting to disappear.  i met kosta and nick at central station and from there we took the mtr to tung cheong station where the cable cars are.  from there, the cable car took us to the top of the mountain and we walked to the big buddah.  nick and kosta both climbed the steps and we had a look around.  it was a pretty nice view as we had just caught a good time and the fog patches were beginning to roll in.

from there, we took the cable car down back down the hill to the mall that was at the foot of the mountain.  the interesting part of the mall at tung cheong station is that it is dedicated to outlet shopping and nick finally found shoes!

at this point, i’m back at the apartment in central and the greek boys went home.  kosta was feeling a bit under the weather, so we’ll see what happens with dinner plans tonite.  until next time!
