the greeks are in town

kosta and nick finally made it to hong kong a few days ago.  their journey started off bumpy as they were delayed six hours in hong kong.  gotta love AC.  only in north america  you’ll find the union trumping logic.  what had happened was that the plane that kosta and nick were booked on was one of AC’s newest plane.  in fact it was the plane’s twentieth run and because of that not all of the bugs had been worked out.  anyways, the generator to the kitchen in the plane was on the fritz and because of that the plane was delayed.  the plane was on the ground for more than an hour and half.  according to the union rules, a fresh crew had to be put in place.  the plane was delayed for another 45 minutes and because of that delay, union rules stated that a new flight crew had to be changed.   now i know that the change in the flight crew was necessary for the safety of the flight, but really, did the flight have to be delayed for six hours? 

 anyways, nick and kosta finally made it to HK and we’ve been having a blast.  hong kong is indeed a shopper’s paradise.  different kinds of malls from higher end things to basic street markets, tailored suits and knock off watches.  hong kong has it all.  it definately has changed since i started coming 25 years ago.  let’s see where this progression and expansion will take hong kong.  cheers until next time.
